Handmade Daisies by Sandie

I have a lovely friend who lives in my computer. Her name is Sandie. She is very talented and creative. She makes the most beautiful daisies!!! She has been making these for quite a while now, you've probably seen them in your scrap store - if you haven't you should ask for some!!! They are the original and the very best!!!!

Pop on over to her blog - Handmade Daisies by Sandie - and see just what you can do with these little beauties. They brighten up anything you are working on!!!

And here they are!

Let me tell you.....Miss Kylie sure knows how to put together a great kit!!! Here's the layouts I did using her Crop for a Cause kit and I've still got lots left to use!!!!! If you're lucky she'll have one left for you....pop on over to her blog or Scrap Girls.

Creating for a Cause...

Kylie Sheppard-Morris from Scrap Girls and her lovely friend Joh are organising a fundraiser for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All will be revealed at the next Scrap Girls Cropfest at Long Point, next weekend.

I was asked if I would like to join in on the fun and said "YES!" of course. Very flattered to be included with some very talented scrappers.

Here's some sneaky peekies at what I've produced....not easy for a pink-challenged scrapper, but I managed B-)

Is it just me???

Or do you also look back on your older layouts and lose some love for them? I'm always loving my latest creations B-)

A tops time!!!

Scrap Girls Retreats....well, what can I say??? Except that if you come along you'll have the most fabulous time with a 'tops' group of scrapbookers.

These pics are from the Christmas in July retreat at Stanwell Tops...and it was tops!!!

I'm off in a couple of weeks to the October Cropfest and I can hardly contain my excitement!!! It's guaranteed that I will have a great time with like-minded ladies. Lots of scrapping, delicious food by the wondrous Belle, games galore!!! The theme is 'Pink Halloween' ... not sure what to dress up as ... any suggestions???

Do yourself a favour and pop on over to Scrap Girls and say hello to Kylie....you'll be glad that you did!

The inspirational team members layouts are up for September's Word Pictures challenge. This month's challenge was designed by one of our team members Deb Hosking. It's been nice having the girls take turns to do the challenges and give me a break. This means that I get to blind scrap...yeah!

Here's my take on this month's challenge....hope you likey!

The added extra challenge this month was to use a decorative border somewhere on your page. I chose to do a pleated ribbon with a little wooden heart and a sticker. I also handstitched a border with red thread.

Why don't you pop over to Word Pictures and take a peek....you should give it a try!! It's easier than you think and there's some great prizes to be won. Tell your friends!
